Reverse engineering is the service we offer to our customer to create a CAD model of your physical parts.  The resulting  model is parametric, meaning that we can modified or improve it once is converted in SolidWorks document.  Depending of the precision requirements, and the parts complexities we can use different technologies:

Hi Precision/big parts:  For these we use the FARO Arm with a precision of .001in or 2microns, providing us with the confidence for high accuracy jobs. 

When regular Precision / Nominal that can be easily determine we use the MircroScribe 2X with a precision of .009". 

For Regular Precision and too many features we use our NextEngine Laser scanner.
